*** Vendors comments *** "I remember coming off the main street and noticing straight away how quiet this cul de sac was, also the allotments that are opposite. I walked in the front door and knew this would be home. Having my own back garden, I could see myself having friends around in summer. Alongside having a walk-in wardrobe, the wonderful view from my bedroom, the trees and having no neighbours opposite me. It is a wonderful sight to see when you first wake; peacefulness and calm before you start your day.

The location really suited me as it is a very short walk to the station. Walking, I can make it in 7 minutes to Elmers End train station and I could get to my workplace very easily. There is the train and tramline (fast into East Croydon) which can get me into London Bridge within 20 minutes with the regular service.

I now work from home, so I invested in the services of an interior designer who helped me to redesign downstairs and my bathroom 15 months ago. We also created a study that I love to step away from after a day's work! The ceiling got replastered and we put spotlights in, alongside creating three separate spaces downstairs which work beautifully when entertaining too. My bathroom also now has spotlights and feels very fresh with white tiles, a new bathtub and a waterfall shower. Just what you need to get you ready for the day! My favourite restaurants are a 10-minute walk away by Elmers End Green. I especially love the Italian and their stone-baked pizzas; the restaurant is voted in the top 5 of Beckenham.

I also enjoy the Thai restaurant, a little gem with the best Massaman Curry I have ever tried. There is a traditional Irish family pub, The Elm Tree within a 10-minute walk too. This has been totally refurbished in the past 12 months and is a fantastic meeting point for family, friends and to watch the rugby. I frequently go into Beckenham High street which has a fantastic selection of bars, restaurants and boutique shops. This is a 20-minute walk or 10-minute drive. The Junction is my favourite to meet prior to heading into London with the nearby station Beckenham Junction. After a weekend I then can drive within 10 minutes to my local gym, Beckenham Spa to work off the weekend.

I am moving as I want to move outside of London with my partner and get two large dogs! I have a back garden but would need more space to leave larger animals to run free. This home holds a lot of fond memories and many firsts! It's where I held my first dinner party, hosted Christmas, my first BBQ and became my own boss. I have always felt safe and secure when in this home and I hope that this home also supports the next people who have the pleasure of calling it theirs".
