Property description

This unique home is sure to attract first time buyers as well as those looking for an investment. The house has an open plan layout downstairs, creating a fantastic social space of the lounge and kitchen/dining areas. This will be great when friends visit, allowing you stay involved with the conversations whilst you cook up a storm in the kitchen area. Upstairs in particular, the home has to be seen to understand the full benefit of the individual layout. You will find an upstairs bathroom, which is rare in a home of this period. The bedroom is a great size and you have the addition of a study, which could work equally well as a dressing room.

For people looking to improve their next home, this will also be perfect. Planning permission was granted in 2015 for a two storey rear extension in order to create more living space downstairs and a second bedroom upstairs (Application Reference: 15/505578/FULL Swale Borough Council).

Teynham is a popular village located between two major local towns. It offers you access to Sittingbourne and then the smaller, independent shops and array of pubs of the market town of Faversham. That is not to say the village does not have amenities of its own – with a range of shops and renowned takeaways and pubs. Crucially it also has its own railway station, which means that this property will be perfect for commuters to get to London.

What the Owner says:

We have lived here for over two years now and have loved being here. Our family is getting older so the time has come for us to move to a larger property, but we are sure a couple will appreciate the house as much as we have. The garden is one of our favourite aspects of the house, it is larger than you might expect and a real treat in the summer.

Creating the study space was one of the best things we did here and we even managed to add a sleeping area over the top which is handy for when a guest stays over
