Property description

DESCRIPTION Situated in an idyllic rural location yet within a short drive of Haltwhistle and all the facilities and amenities it has to offer, we are pleased to bring to the market this detached stone built three bedroom cottage together with a separate detached dwelling which offers potential for development. The property retains much charm and character including beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls and is set in delightful mature gardens. From the sitting room stairs lead up to the first floor where there are two further bedrooms. Low Herdley is accessed through gates along a track leading to the front of the property where there is sufficient parking. The gardens are undoubtedly a feature of the property and comprise of extensive lawned areas, mature trees, fruit trees, flower borders, bushes and shrubs leading to a stream which is bordered by hedging offering seclusion and privacy. There is a wood store, coal bunker and BBQ sitting area. Set within the gardens and enjoying its own access, there is a detached derelict dwelling which offers potential for development (subject to any necessary planning consents being obtained).

The historic city of Carlisle is less than 18 miles to the West and Hexham and is less than 20 miles to the east making both accessible via the A69.
