Dreaming of your perfect village home then look no further as this superb bungalow could be just the one. Set in a quiet location, why not take a stroll out onto one of the many rambling routes in the surrounding countryside. If you would rather stay inside but still admire the outdoors then you will not be disappointed with the super conservatory overlooking the rear garden. This excellent room is perfect for a family get together and effortlessly transforms this property into something special and with heating as well as air conditioning its a room you can use every day of the year. The rest of the bungalow will also excite you.
As soon as you step inside you’ll appreciate its spacious accommodation. The lounge and dining areas are bright and airy and has plenty of room for a dining table and chairs and gives access to the conservatory. The kitchen is the ideal place to rustle up a tasty meal and there is the added bonus of the rear lobby area giving potential to make this room even larger. The bedrooms are both good sizes and the whole property is warmed by a modern oil fired heating system which is both economical and easy to run. The outside is a gardener’s delight with plenty to keep anyone with green fingers busy in the summer months. The garage with its electric up and over door will be lucky to see a car as it’s the perfect storage place for all those treasured possessions. We think this bungalow could be the perfect retirement home so why not come and have a look and see for yourself.
What the Owner says:
When we moved over to the island from the mainland we initially bought this bungalow as a stop gap to get settled and look for something else but nearly fourteen years later we are still here and have loved every minute of it. Whitwell is a lovely quiet village but you can still get to Ventnor, Shanklin or Newport fairly quickly as they are all within a short drive away. The bungalow was originally designed with three bedrooms but the first owners chose to only have two giving you a huge master bedroom. You could however easily create the third bedroom with a bit of thought and DIY. We will miss our lovely neighbours and super bungalow when we sell and hope the new owners will enjoy it here as much as we have.
