One thing is for certain, this is one of the nicest flats I have ever been to in Whitchurch. From the moment that you enter, your immediate reaction is something like 'Wow, this is nice!' In fact, such is the space, it could almost be located in a trendy suburb of London, never mind a laid back market town. To say that you are 'Up in the Gods' when you live here is probably an understatement, given that it is located literally next door to St John's Church tower. However, it is a blessing (pardon the pun) that they no longer ring the bells here otherwise you would never get a lie in on a Sunday. The current owner is particularly house proud so you will probably need to remove your shoes when you enter. Every room has been recently re-decorated and everything is meticulously in place, (including the Swarovskei, crystal studded Moet Champagne bottle candelabra strategically placed on the dining table). The immediate first impression is that it is supremely quiet up here and there is plenty of light. You are immediately drawn to the windows, if not just to take a peak and get your bearings, but you can actually see 3 churches and 2 nearby bowling greens from here; something that you may not realise by just walking down the street. Talking of which, the town centre shops and amenities are less than a 5-minute walk away, so this really is a very convenient place in which to live. Should you need to travel further afield, there is a car park at the rear with your own dedicated parking space. An internal inspection, as you can guess by the lovely photographs, is most strongly recommended. The aforementioned sitting/dining room is a most comfortable reception room, large enough to accommodate two sofas, an armchair and a six-seater dining table and the subtle hues ensure it is somewhere to relax. However, the calmest room is the spacious master bedroom, which also has front facing views and this could easily be utilised as a reception room, if required. The other bedroom (currently utilised as a study) is also 'double' and the luxury refitted bathroom is a spectacle to behold with its contemporary white suite and plantation shutters. It may not be the most spacious room, but as the saying goes 'good things come in small packages' and this is certainly the case here! The ground floor apartment is currently being modernised, indicating that this property is clearly 'on the up' and now is the 'right time to buy in this building', but don't just take my word for it - go and take a look for yourselves - I really don't think that you will be disappointed.
