The Area:
This stunning 'chocolate box' cottage is located conveniently just off Ladybridge Lane in a 'tucked away' spot, but not too far from the beaten track in the heart of Heaton. The cottage sits within a well proportioned plot, surrounded by beautiful tiered gardens offering fabulous views of the local countryside. Whilst the cottage is in a private spot, Chorley New Road is less than 0.5 miles away with excellent access to networking links, such as Bolton Town Centre and the M61 motorway.
Popular schooling is another strong characteristic of the area and combines both state and private education. Bolton School in particular attracts many people to settle within the town and is just around less that 1 mile away. Heaton also includes a number of popular pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities. Junction 5 M61 is just 3 miles away whilst Lostock train station which is on the mainline to Manchester is under 1.5 miles away. Many locals consider Manchester as an appropriate distance to work, shop and socialise and for those who enjoy spending time outdoors the area has access to Doffcocker Nature Reserve, which is ideal for dog walking, running etc.
