Property description
If you're looking for a good size family home close to town and a short walk to most of Dorking's schools including St Paul's, then look no further as this could be for you.
The large lounge is a great place to relax with a good book or in front of the television where light floods in through the bay window. The kitchen and separate dining area on the lower ground floor is perfect for entertaining or for a family Sunday lunch. While the chef of the house is cooking up a storm in the modern kitchen, family and friends can be having a glass of wine at the table and you won't get to miss out on any of the conversation.
There is also a store room on this floor so great to have some extra storage space or somewhere you can potter and tinker about.
There are also three double bedrooms and a modern and newly fitted bathroom complete with a roll top bath, so if you fancy a luxurious soak at the end of a hard day this bathroom won't disappoint.
The patio and garden is great if you like to eat al-fresco and if you prefer to park your car off the road there is access at the rear for one small car.
A lovely family home definitely worth a view!
What the Owner says:
We bought this house almost 40 years ago and it has been a wonderful place to bring up our family. We love the fact you can walk into the centre of Dorking and yet you have the countryside right on your doorstep and the wide open space of The Nower is just a few minutes walk away.
We have made various improvements over the years but more recently we put in a new kitchen in 2013, a new bathroom with power shower in 2015, a new boiler around 5/6 years ago, the electrics were updated and checked in the last 2/3 years, we've put in new rear gates and changed the rise on the stairs.
We're now looking to move to Suffolk to be closer to our family.
