Property description

This is one of those properties that are like "gold dust" and do not come on the market very often and, when they do, they are snapped up very quickly.

It is a spacious semi-detached house that requires some updating yet it has had a new roof, fascias and guttering and offers a blank canvas and endless potential to transform it into a great family home. It is a house that you can move into and slowly refurbish, putting your own personal stamp upon to create your dream home. There is also room and potential to extend, subject to planning permission, which many neighbours have already done.

Externally, there is a good size front garden with the potential for a driveway, subject to planning permission, and an impressive size rear garden which is divided into two sections. There is a large lawn with mature and well kept shrubs and bushes and is the ideal place for your little ones to let off some steam and behind the fence is, what once used to be, a vegetable patch but could easily be part of the main garden again or the perfect place to store a caravan.

There is a single garage to the rear of the property with good car access and plenty of space to erect a double garage if required.

For those of you unfamiliar with the area this property is situated just on the outskirts of Gravesend town centre and within easy reach of the A2/M2 motorway networks. There are a good choice of schools nearby and it is within walking distance to Mid Kent college, local shops and amenities.

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

This property has been in the family name since 1948. I grew up in this house along with my brother and sister and have many happy memories living here.

The pretty villages of Shorne and Higham, surrounded by countryside, are nearby with lovely local pubs where you can stop for a Sunday lunch after, perhaps, a walk along one of the many trails in the beautiful Shorne Country Park.

It is now time for a new family to enjoy our lovely home just as much as we have.
