Mum's favourite room is definitely the dining room, which was extended many years ago. She would sit for hours looking through the patio doors at the rear garden, her pride and joy. When she was younger she loved to tend to the flower borders which are always a host of colour at this time of year, but more recently we have had to employ a gardener with strict instructions to ensure that the lawn remains nice and trim and all the weeds are kept at bay!
