Property description
Beech Road is a safe, quiet and peaceful residential area on the edge of east Horsham. It’s a fantastic location to bring up a young family as you have very popular schools and lovely countryside both nearby, and yet central Horsham is just a short car or bus ride and has numerous shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy.
This particular semi-detached home is set back off the road and has a nice size front and rear garden, there is also a detached garage and a lengthy driveway that provides plenty of tandem parking. The property has been loved and cherished over the years but does find itself in an original condition, this has naturally been reflected within the marketing price to allow buyers the opportunity to modernise and personalise their lovely new home but also to add real value to it whilst doing so.
The lounge and dining area has large windows to the front and the rear so it’s a lovely and bright room You may be tempted to remove the adjoining wall to the kitchen to really open up the space creating a large kitchen/diner. But before you do that explore the possibility of extending the property to the side like some of the neighbouring properties. A double storey side extension could easily sit on the plot, subject to the normal planning conditions and could make this your perfect home for many years to come. It was fantastic growing up in this house, I have so many happy memories here. At the weekends my brother and I would often go and run out into the woods and countryside nearby for hours on end, but now the children have the fantastic adventure playground as well to go and explore.
And although you are right on the edge of Horsham, the town centre and the mainline station are really easy to get to. Also, the 98 bus stops nearby and comes about every 15 minutes or so, it can whisk you off to the shops in no time at all.
