Property description

If you are looking for a family home close to the town centre, then look no further! This home is a short walk away from local supermarkets and the High Street, which is really convenient when doing the weekly shop. You are also close to the canal so you can enjoy walks along the banks and admire the local wildlife, and even take a sneak peak at the wild animals if you venture as far as the zoo park. The beach is also not far away so you can take full advantage of it when the weather is nice.

You must come and view this tidy, well looked after home as you can just move in and unpack as the current owner has really looked after it.

The kitchen and dining areas are the real hub of this home. You can help the children with their homework or watch them in the garden whilst you prepare the evening meal, or simply sit around the table with a friend and a cuppa and chat about the days events.

The lounge offers a cosy feel and is the perfect place to unwind at the end of a busy day. You can picture yourself snuggling up and catching up on your favourite series or reading a book.

The garden is lovely and backs onto the light railway and canal, from which you can often hear the 'toot toot' of the steam trains. This is a lovely space in which you can host a barbeque and have the family around, whilst you sip a glass of wine and relax in a lounger.

What the Owner says:

We bought our home in 1980 as we thought it would be a good place to raise our family as it was close to local schools. We have found Hythe a lovely place to live as it has a nice community feeling to it and there is plenty to do.

Since we have lived here, we have had the roof done and kept up with the maintenance on the house.

I have been very happy here and I am now only looking to move as I would like to live closer to my family who live in the Ashford area.
