Property description

Imagine pulling onto your driveway after a hard days work and walk straight into your warm and welcoming home. This fantastic family home boasts enough space for your growing family in the years to come. The kitchen provides a brilliant amount of storage space and has a handy larder and utility room to the side for the washing machine and dishwasher, so you are able to reduce the noise from the appliances drifting through the house, allowing you all to relax in the lounge area in the evenings, in front of the open fireplace, all snuggling up together on the sofa watching your favourite programmes. Converted from the original garage there is a ground floor shower room and a study room. This could make a great guest room or space for a dependant relative and having the extra shower room should help reduce the queues in the morning rush. Two double bedrooms offer some lovely views to the front and rear of the house and a smaller bedroom could easily by a study or a nursery. The garden has been landscaped by the current owners and is now of a low maintenance composition, whilst still allowing space for flowerbeds, table and chairs, and even the barbecue for those perfect summer days with friends and family.

The Nevill area is one of Lewes' most sought after locations. There is a local bus route that heads into town and it even has its own residents’ association. The local shop is a short walk from the house, handy if you run our of the daily essentials such as milk or bread.

What the Owner says:

We already lived locally and wanted to stay in the area for work and the schools, so we were very happy when we found this house and what it had to offer. It is a bright and airy house, made even more so by the dual aspect windows in the living area and the lovely open fire has been a welcome bonus. The patio doors to the garden have allowed us maximum entertaining space for family gatherings and celebrations.

We have reached a point where we no longer feel we need the space this house has, but it has provided us with some very happy memories over the last 20 years. We hope the new owners enjoy living here as much as we have.
