Having lived previously in Wanstead I knew this area quite well, and when I walked into this home the atmosphere gave me a lovely feeling. I opened up the ground floor and extended which was completed in 2013. I redecorated the kitchen and bathroom (with steam shower), and added the loft space. It's cool in the summer here and cosy in the winter by the crackling fire, and as much as it's adjacent to the North Circular, this means I can walk to the underground station and the local school within minutes. My family have enjoyed Easter egg hunts in Elmhurst park and other annual events. There is a great pre school close by, local shops just around the corner and a super market. There is even a local gazette for this area.
