When we bought this house 9 years ago, we were already living in Whitfield and keen to stay in the area. We wanted a 3 bedroom home as we knew it would be a place that we would grow into.
Over the years, we have had the double glazing replaced and the porch rebuilt 3 years ago. We also installed a new bathroom suite. We have redecorated throughout and re-carpeted. Considering one of us works shifts, it is such a peaceful place to be able to sleep in the day. It has been a great house for raising our young children because of the open plan layout. It has meant that we can always keep an eye on them. We have the recreation nearby where we take the children to play. Being so close to the A2 & A20 means that we can both get to work easily.
