Property description

The village of Aldington lies to the south east of Ashford and is a popular village with an array of amenities such as a school, post office and a local produce shop. The village green and hall hosts a number of activities and the local pub serves up some good food!

This home is in the heart of the village and everything nearby is within walking distance. Tucked up at the end of the close there’s no passing traffic and with fields out the back there’s also some great walks to be had as well.

Inside, the wide hallway welcomes you in and you’ll find the understairs cupboard is perfect for storing shoes and boots.

A large bay window draws the light in from the front and fills not only the large lounge/dining area but flows through into the extended breakfast area beyond. The extended ground floor has further created a larger kitchen/breakfast area so it works really well as a family space.

Upstairs, a modern and stylish bathroom awaits! What better way to start or finish the day than with a lovely hot, refreshing shower or even a soak in the bath.

Like the downstairs, large windows in the bedrooms let the sunshine in and make the whole house bright and airy.

What the Owner says:

Coming from a village we were keen not to live in Ashford itself but didn’t want to be too far away. When this one came up it was in the right place at the right time. Having dogs, it was nice that we had the green area out the front and the fields out the back.
The extension was already here so we loved the space that was offered as well. We’ve been here 18 years so we’ve obviously done a few things over time including updating the double glazing and plastering walls. Last year we replaced the bathroom and updated some of the carpets.
We’ve loved living in the village and our daughter went to the school here. There’s always been a great community spirit in the village and lots going on!
