When we were looking to buy, we wanted a house where we could walk to the station as we have to commute to London for work on occasions. We also wanted an older style house as we love character in a property and this house had a lovely feel to it and was larger than other properties we had seen of a similar price.
Since we’ve owned the property, we have re-plastered some of the rooms and have redecorated. We have only just had a new kitchen installed. We have really enjoyed the open fire in the lounge during the winter months and we had the chimney swept in October 2015.
We have done a lot to the garden and having the decking area at the bottom of the garden is a peaceful place to sit and enjoy the outdoors.

It is a lovely area to live in as the road is quiet , the neighbours are friendly and yet it is so easy to walk into town or to the station.
