I have loved having this cottage for many years and I originally bought it for an investment so I could see some growth on my capital. Last year, it brought me in just under £24,000 gross which is about a 10% return. I use ‘Island Cottage Holidays’ to let it for me and they do a fabulous job. Island Cottage Holidays are also happy to speak to anyone about it’s potential and also carry on helping then next owners. If i want to use it myself I just call them and ask for the week to be free. I will be leaving the majority of furniture if need be, so any interested party could let it straight away. I will be sad to let it go but It is time for me to free up some capital and enjoy my future plans.
