Property description

We hear of many reasons why some people buy their home. It may be the right price, the right size, the location. Well, all of these were true forty years ago when the current owners bought it but most of all for years they would stroll past it and think “if that house ever came to market we would love to buy it”. That is just what they did!

It’s not surprising to see why either. It stands proudly on its corner plot making it surely more appealing than most and the addition of a garage certainly makes it the envy of all its neighbours. If houses could talk, this one would surely shout loudest!

Inside, the lounge and dining areas intermingle perfectly to create a great space attracting sunlight from front to back and seeming to welcome you with open arms. The kitchen is big enough for any budding cook and with the door leading into the courtyard from which the garage can be accessed, you’ll be able to park up safely and bring in the weekly shop without so much as a hop, skip and jump. How about creating a terrace on the garage roof?

With the bedrooms being across two floors, all are of good sizes and the separate bathroom and toilet just add to the convenience!

What the Owner says:

We have lived here happily for 40 years, and have brought up four children here. The neighbours are really nice and friendly and we have made close friends with some of them. We have schools close by and many shops just down the road. We can walk to London Road and Churchill Square from where we live and even down to the seafront. There is a small park called the William Clark Park, but known locally as the Patch and it is nestled amongst the local neighbourhood. There are many local events throughout the year that take place there and we also have The Level, a newly refurbished park that is wonderful in the summer for the children. As our children have grown, it is now time for us to move to a smaller home. We hope our next home is as happy as this one has been!
