We bought this property when it was first built as a holiday home and we have thoroughly enjoyed coming here on a regular basis over the past six years. However, we are sadly having to sell it for health reasons and will also be including all the furniture and furnishings so new owners will not need to do anything except walk in and enjoy everything this lovely house has to offer. One of the great things about it, in addition to the wonderful position, is the delightful communal grounds that we can enjoy but we don't have to look after, so is ideal as a holiday home where you can ‘lock up and go'. The residents who use the grounds create a friendly community and we have regular barbecues and get togethers in the summer.
It is only a short stroll to the sailing club and the quaint Gurnard beach with its green coloured beach huts and children's playground and we are not far from the Cowes Golf Club. If you want to have a drink or a meal without worrying about taking the car you can always wander along to The Woodvale where you can enjoy an excellent meal. We can also walk to the centre of Cowes, that Mecca for sailors the world over where there is a plethora of independent shops, chandlers, bars and restaurants as well as museums and galleries.
