Aptly named this impressive four bedroom bungalow is nestled amongst the woodland in a popular location of Fishbourne.
The property has benefited from many upgrades by the current owner, to include the development of a sizeable kitchen dining space with an extensive array of units and complemented by a contrasting granite work top. In addition to the large kitchen, there is also a useful utility room with space for appliances and additional space for coats.
The impressive conservatory leads from the kitchen via double doors, and gives additional dining space if required and is also large enough to accommodate a superb sitting area overlooking the attractive gardens and surrounding woodland. The lounge again leads from the fantastic conservatory via double doors and continues to give a superb vantage point of the well-presented gardens.
The property’s four bedrooms are situated to one side of the bungalow and are served by both a bathroom and shower room as well as an en-suite to the master bedroom offering both separate bath and shower facilities.
The gardens of the home wrap around the property giving defined areas for its use, with the more formal garden sited to the front of the home, offering an attractive elevated patio area with accompanying flower bed borders, and a large raised pond with a natural border from the lane.
There are a number of sheds to the rear, one of which serving as storage, another as a wood store to fuel the fitted wood burner in the lounge.
The main driveway of the home leads you to the rear of the home and as well as ample parking also has a large double garage, with workshop and additional storage space.
The insulated chalet adjacent to the double garage, has both power and light and could serve as a fantastic home office, gym or hobby room depending on your needs.
For any buyers seeking a home in a peaceful location, close to ferry links and within easy reach of the towns of both Ryde and Newport, this property really does offer it all.
What the Owner says:
We love the peaceful ambiance of the house and its close connection with nature, particularly the red squirrels that you see in the surrounding trees and in our garden, the birds that feed from the bird table, in the hedges and even from our cherry tree and also the occasional pheasant.
It is very convenient for the ferry and travel to the mainland, with the benefit of a very frequent bus service on the nearby main road which is approximately a ten minute walk away.
Placed in a very nice neighbourhood in which to live, there is a coastal footpath running by the bottom boundary behind the hedge providing lovely walks.
