Modern living meets 19th century, former bake house at this magnificent, character property which is nestled on the outskirts of the popular rural village of Niton.
Believed to have once been the local bakery and retaining many character features you will fall in love with its charm and welcoming feel but still appreciate all of the conveniences which bring this old property into the 21st century.
Never worry again about being cold on a winters night as this home has the latest electric heating system along with multiple wood burning stoves to keep you toasty whatever the weather is doing outside.
Don’t be fooled into thinking this modest looking home is going to be small as it soon opens up into a deceptively spacious and well-designed family home. The kitchen/diner will undoubtedly become the hub of the house and is sure to impress friends and family. The lounge and study mean there are plenty of places to relax and unwind. The separate annex provides two bedroom accommodation for a granny or maybe the odd paying guest but could equally provide additional rooms for a larger family if the four bedrooms in the main house are not enough!
Outside the rear garden with its sunny aspect, stunning country backdrop and swimming pool is sure to be a big hit in the summer and the garage and driveway mean you will always have somewhere to park off the road. This stunning home really has been restored to the highest standards and is sure to attract a wide range of buyers.
What the Owner says:
When we first viewed this house we instantly saw the potential it could offer to us as a family. From the outside it’s easy to dismiss it as a small cottage but we were amazed to find how it opens up and provides such a lot of space. The annex has been a real bonus for family and friends when they stay over as it has its own entrance and they can come and go as they please. We have also contemplated letting the annexe to generate an extra income and this could be something a new buyer could consider doing. The views out the back are gorgeous and we never grow tired of looking at them. We have just installed a new electric central heating system to compliment the wood burning stoves so the house is never cold in the winter.
