Property description

Rosteague Farmhouse is a charming and spacious four bedroom detached country residence located within the exclusive Rosteague Estate surrounded by National Trust land whilst enjoying the most outstanding rural and coastal views in all directions.

This wonderful family home has been lovingly cared for by the current vendors during their 26 years of ownership and is presented to the market in wonderful condition.

Within the property there are two comfortable living rooms, the formal sitting room and a music room, both of which offer versatile living accommodation and feature period open fireplaces. There is also a spacious, open plan kitchen/dining area with Aga providing a wonderful light and airy area for family living or evening entertaining. From this area, accessed via French doors, is a glorious sun room which has been added by the current vendors and provides a year round reception room and the most breathtaking views out across neighbouring farmland towards the coastline in the distance. For convenience there is a separate utility room, rear hall and ground floor cloakroom/wc completing the accommodation on the ground floor.

At first floor level there are four spacious double bedrooms, together with a family bathroom. The master bedroom provides en suite facilities via a spacious shower cubicle with electric shower over.

The house is approached via a right of way over the long tree lined drive of the estate. Ending at the farmhouse, there is a large parking area along with a double garage and carport. Additional outbuildings near the garage include a workshop with adjoining
kennels and wood store, a storage shed as well as a greenhouse and poly tunnel in the vegetable garden. A walled garden to the south east of the house has a level lawned
area, as does the garden to the east of house. There is a large and very productive vegetable garden with fruit cage as well as a well stocked orchard. A third lawned garden outside the garden room has a very attractive gazebo from which to sit and enjoy stunning views over the neighbouring field out to sea.
