There is a market here each Wednesday and a farmers market on the first Saturday of each month. Crown Hotel in Watton dates back to the 1760's and provides comfortable accommodation and good food.



Dereham to the north is a lively town with a market held on Tuesdays and Fridays, a wide variety of independent shops and several pubs.



The fine Cathedral city of Norwich is about ½ an hour away by car and provides a wider variety of shopping, commercial and leisure facilities, cinema, theatre, restaurants, hospital and high street stores. LOCAL AMEITIES Letton is a beautiful and quiet Norfolk village close to Cranworth with its 14th Century church of St Mary's. Local amenities can be found in Shipdham which has a range of everyday facilities including a doctor's surgery, shops, a primary school, post office and public house. The old airfield is now the Shipdham Aeroclub and museum.



Within 5 miles of Letton there are several primary schools feeding into Northgate High School. There are also a selection of independent schools within 20 miles including Town Close House Preparatory School, Hethersett Old School, Norwich School, Norwich High School for Girls and Riddlesworth Hall Prep School.





 

TRAVEL Letton village is 15 minutes drive from the A47 and 20 minutes from the A11 providing excellent links with the Midlands and London respectively. Fast Train links are available from Norwich and Thetford to London. Norwich Airport with domestic and international connections is approximately 20 miles to the north, while London Stanstead Airport can be reached in 1 ½ hours via the M11 and by train.

 

DIRECTIONS From Norwich, take the A47 towards Swaffham, then take the A1075 signposted to Watton. After approximately 4 miles turn left onto Letton Road. The property can be found on the right, clearly marked with a Barn Masters for sale board.
