When we saw this property we were struck by its potential and decided to up the specification, the bathroom and kitchen both needed to be refitted to a higher standard. Light bulb technology has moved on over the last 18 months and we took advantage of this. The light bulbs used throughout the house would have been 50watts each, these use only 6.5 watts each and in normal use the manufacturers claim a bulb life of 27 years. The whole house is lit for less than the running cost of 2 conventional light bulbs.
We even spent a little more on the front railings as a detail to make the property stand out in the road. Having re-plastered, decorated, laid new flooring and improved the garden I am very pleased with the finished results.
