The Broadway
With a traditional look and feel that is charmingly complemented by contemporary features and stylish décor, The Broadway is the perfect 3 bedroom home for today’s family lifestyle. It has been expertly designed to include everything you could need, without ever feeling cramped or crowded. Careful attention to proportions mean that The Broadway retains all of the light and feeling of space that our other New Heritage Collection homes are renowned for.

The master bedroom benefits from a beautiful en-suite bathroom, setting the property well above its rival 3 bedroom properties. Other finishing touches such as a laundry room and downstairs cloakroom have also been included to enchance the lifestyle of those living in the sophisticated Broadway.

Perfect for couples or young families, The Broadway is proof that quality and affordability can co-exist - with the most beautiful results.

Glenwood Park - About the development:
Glenwood Park is a delightful development of two, three and four bedroom homes just two miles from the popular North Devon town of Barnstaple.

Surrounded by outstanding countryside, and just a short drive from both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks, yet with excellent schools and a lively town close by, this is an excellent place to set up home and raise your family.

People travel from across the UK to holiday in Barnstaple, so there’s always something interesting and exciting going on, along with a much larger range of shops and restaurants than you might expect in a town this size.

Glenwood Park really does offer the best of both worlds, just like the superb Heritage Collection homes we’re building there, with their combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern interior design.

Local Information

Leisure
Barnstaple is the local leisure capital, with something for everyone, all year round. Check out the Barnstaple Fair and Carnival every September, or the Fringe Theatre Festival in June, brimming with top local and national talent. There’s also the Barnstaple Grand Prix, with crazy characters racing lawn mowers and pedal powered cars right through the streets of town just like the Monaco Grand Prix (sort of)!

Barnstaple has a huge range of sports facilities too, including the Tarka tennis Centre, which holds an annual Open with $75, 000 prize money. Golfers will enjoy the many excellent local courses, including the ‘St Andrews of the North’, the Royal North Devon. As you would expect in such a picturesque location, there’s plenty of great walking in and around the town, including the Tarka Trail along the banks of the Rover Taw and the North Devon Coastal Path.

Shopping
Barnstaple has a remarkable range of shops for such a small town, with everything from M & S and bhs, to Monsoon and River Island. There is also a wide selection of quaint and quirky independent shops, making for a fascinating mix.

The historic Pannier Market, dating back almost 160 years, is open six days a week, with regular general markets as well as a weekly antiques and collectables market.

For designer bargains, head for the Atlantic Village Outlet Shopping Park in nearby Bideford where you’ll find everyone from gap to Mountain Warehouse, Hush Puppies to Cotton Traders.

Dining
Barnstaple is a veritable foodie paradise when it comes to dining out, with no fewer than 35 restaurants listed on the local guide, including many with romantic, historic interiors.

Local seafood is not to be missed, with your dinner often caught just a few miles from where you are sitting, just a few hours earlier. Barnstaple has a great reputation for its food, and even the local gastro pubs go the extra mile to raise their game. Check out the Old Barn Inn in Bickington, (close to the development), or The Wrey Arms, The Cedars or Han Court also within easy reach.

Dining out reaches its peak during the annual North Devon Food Festival, which draws huge crowds to the town every year.

Amenities
Glenwood Park residents can find local gp's at Fremington Medical Centre on Beards Road, with a choice of local dentists, including Bedford Row Dental Practice.

There is also a local Sainsbury’s supermarket just a short drive from the development.

The A377 will take you to Exeter in around 47 miles, the A361 will take you to the M5 in around 40 miles, The A386 reaches Plymouth in 60 miles and the A39 takes you right along the coast into Cornwall.
