Property description

The village of Peasmarsh is a quiet, friendly village that has a real sense of community and neighbourly care. It has a supermarket, excellent pub and children are catered for with fantastic recreational facilities. It would be fair to say that the countryside surrounding the village is breathtaking and the Cinque Port of Rye is within a short distance.

If you are looking for a bungalow you can really put your own stamp on then look no further. Believed to date back to the 1950's is this unchanged detached bungalow is set back from the road with a drive providing parking for two cars and a single garage.

Once inside you see that the bungalow does need a fair amount of updating and would benefit from decorating, new carpets and some re-plastering. The beauty of this property is you are not paying for anyone else’s taste making this bungalow a wonderfully exciting project where you can turn it into your dream home. You will appreciate the high ceilings that give you the feeling of light and space. Both the bedrooms are doubles and rear garden is a great size.

This home has the potential to be extended to the rear, into the loft space or into the garage, subject to planning permission, the choice is yours. and the possibilities endless!

What the Owner says:

Having been born and breed in Peasmarsh I will miss the village incredibly and I think I may be the oldest person born in the village to still be here! The people in the community have been very special to me so much so I am proud to be a Parish Council member, it is a warm and friendly place and I hope that anyone moving here will think so too. The local supermarket has everything your need and also has a cafe where you can treat yourself after you have completed your shopping.
There is a marvellous bus service taking you to Rye where you can spend the day exploring the Cinque Port, one of the best preserved medieval towns of England. Rye has an array of bespoke shops, restaurants, tea shops and the famous cobbled Mermaid Street.
