Monkton Combe is a village and civil parish in north Somerset, 3 miles (4.8 km) south of Bath. The village has one public house, The Wheelwrights Arms, and two mills, neither of which in working order. There is also a village lock-up built in the 18th century, which was accepted as an Ancient monument in 1953. A significant proportion of the village centre is taken up by Monkton Combe School.
