When we were looking to buy over 10 years ago we had a large family and had outgrown our modern house and wanted a large home, with bigger rooms for our family.
This was only the 2nd house that we had viewed, but knew straight away that it was the one for us. With high ceilings, plenty of space, separate reception rooms and 2 toilets we felt that it was ideal.

Over the years it has been a great family home for us and we have had to do very little, other than decorate and re-fit the bathroom. We have also enjoyed the convenience of being so close to the High Street, with everything on our door step.
